一边是模糊的旅途中的片段记忆,另一边是虚构的柏拉图般的幽闭洞穴,同样是黑白影像,西野和郑浓的照片营造了不同的两个空间。
但他们作品中不约而同地都有光从中透出。在西野的城市或旷野中,尽管前景由于镜头的模糊已经化成大片的黑,但是每张作品中,天光还是顽强地在暗黑的包围中留下了自己的轨迹;郑浓在自己营造的洞穴空间中,有意识地让光从远处显现,让人想起达芬奇的“岩间圣母”,大面积的暗色中,于左上角的远景中有光透出,那是一个未知的空间,也超越了时间本身。在他们的影像中,人处于世界的另一边,或梦或醒,远在天边的光是唯一的指引。

Distant light
Wang xiye & Zhen nong
One side is the fragment memories of the trip, another side is the imagine claustrophobic caves, the same black and white images, but Xi Ye and Zhen Nong created two different spaces.
The light is invariably come from their works. In Xi Ye’s urban or wilderness, although the images is formed to black because the lens is blurry, but each of his works, the light still left its own trajectory with the surrounded darkness.
Zhen Nong is in his own created caves, allows the light appeared from a distance consciously, it reminds people of Vinci’s ‘Madonna of the rocks’, large area of darkness, light come from the left corner, that’s an unknown space, also transcend the time. In their images, people are in the other side of the world, or dreaming or awake, the light from far away is the only guideline
