徕卡摄影师: Herbert Piel

Herbert Piel出生于1957年，他是德国摄影学会和德国徕卡历史学会会员。 Herbert Piel在他十岁的时候开始用他父亲的徕卡IIIg拍摄照片，1975年时候他购买了一台老徕卡M3，但是2周后他又退了回去，因为他不打算更换相机的对焦！2周后，他又买了一台相机。

Piel使用了M3，M4,M4 p mot,M4-2,M5，M6和21mm到280mm焦距的镜头，两年前他更换了刻有“antipanda”的M8，这是日本市场特有的100台纪念版（有这以令人难以置信的光滑和安静的快门）、稍后他有使用了M9，镜头也从21mm到90mm焦距，包括一只全新的35 f/1.4和一只老的50mm Summilux。用他自己的话说就是“如果我拍摄的照片不够好,哪一定是我的错,因为徕卡不会有问题!”
